Mt. Pamitinan

Mt. PAMITINAN , Montalban, Rodriguez, Rizal
Major Jumpoff: Brgy. Wawa, Montalban, Rodriguez, Rizal
LLA (Pamitinan): 14°43′51.7′′N 121°11′29.2′′ E 426 MASL
Days required / Hours to summit: 1 day / 1.5-3 hours
Specs: Minor to Medium, Difficulty 5/9

We started the trek overlooking the Wawa Dam while crossing the wooden hanging bridge. We were told that we need to bring a pair gloves since Pamitinan has rock formations that you need to grab. After climbing for 1 1/2 hours, we reached the Pamitinan and Hapunang Banoy junction. There's a shed and sari sari store and it is perfect place to catch your breath. We climbed about an hour to reach the summit. From the junction, the trail gets more steeper and the rocks became sharper.

How to get there:
Gateway Cubao FX to Eastwood Montalban (Php 50.00)
From Montalban, take a tricycle to Wawa Dam (Php 100 per trip)

DENR Station in Wawa (Php 2.00)
Barangay Hall (Just give a kind donation)

Guides will be assigned and given by the DENR office. (You can give any amount at the guide but Php 500.00 will be fine)

There will be houses that offers cheap shower for you to freshen up after the climb. There's a resort near the jump off point that allows us to shower for Php 20.00 each.
